The deep pelvic well lets the ischials settle in so load spreads across a wide area of tissue, with a JAY Flow fluid tripad and foam overlay conforming to the client’s shape as they move. Above that, lateral and medial supports manage windswept legs, adduction or a pelvis that rotates through the day.
Because the closed-cell foam base is carveable, a fitter can modify the shape for asymmetry and still hold the fit, and components can be repositioned at review. That combination suits clients with aggressive postural needs who also have a history of pressure injury, and it keeps the carer’s routine simple: one cushion, set up once.
