This is the JAY GS paediatric cushion supplied with a second outer cover. For a child at school five days a week, or any client where incontinence or spills are part of the picture, the spare cover means the cushion stays in service while the first one is in the wash.
The cushion is a contoured closed-cell foam base with a JAY Flow fluid insert through the loading area, sized and shaped for children who need skin protection and stable positioning as they grow. Contracture cutouts protect the lower limbs, and the base takes positioning components where posture needs managing.
Covers are machine washable and carry a silver ion fibre to slow bacterial growth, with a spacer layer underneath for airflow. For families and schools, having the second cover on hand removes a common reason a child ends up on a cushion that was never prescribed for them.
