For a client with an asymmetric pelvis, an obliquity or a leg length difference, the two sides of the cushion often need to be set up differently. The dual valve air insert in this JAY Fusion lets you inflate the left and right cells separately, so each side can be tuned to the shape it is carrying.
Around the insert is the standard Fusion build: a multi-layered, pre-contoured closed-cell foam base with a posterior pelvic wall, and a pelvic loading area sized to average skeletal measurements so you do not need to measure the pelvis to order it. The dual cover system keeps moisture out of the foam and the washable outer carries a silver-based fibre to hold bacteria down.
Air needs checking, so it suits clients with a carer or a routine that will keep on top of it.
