The cooling comes from the fluid insert, which uses paraffin wax microbeads to pull heat out of the skin and keep the seated surface in a cooler range for much of the day. Cooler skin perspires less, and drier skin tolerates load better. Beneath it sits the contoured foam base with a posterior pelvic wall to keep the pelvis back in the seat.
