Heat and moisture under the seat are a real problem for clients who sit all day, and a hot, damp skin surface breaks down faster. The JAY ClimaZone is built around that: air suspended fibres in the cushion let air move through, and the Coolover fabric works both ways, drawing heat off the skin when it rises and holding warmth in when the skin cools.
Underneath the climate layer it is a working pressure relief cushion, combining foam with an air sheet so the client gets support and offloading as well as temperature control. The rolled front edge sits comfortably under the thighs, and orientation markings make it hard for a carer to put on back to front.
It is available in standard and bariatric sizes, so it stays an option for heavier clients who are often the hardest to keep cool.
