Who it suits
It suits clients with existing wounds or a history of pressure injury, and clients who cannot reposition themselves. An XP Support foundation underneath stops the client bottoming out through the air cells, which is the usual failure point on a deep immersion surface.
The pump runs quietly, which matters in a bedroom at night, and the cycle interval can be set to suit the client. There is a CPR release for emergencies, a washable waterproof cover, and a repair kit so a puncture does not mean a replacement mattress.
