A client who can walk into a shower but cannot stand safely for the length of one needs a seat with a back and arms. The Homecraft steel standard shower chair is the straightforward version of that: a contoured moulded seat and backrest on a zinc treated, powder coated steel frame with rubber tips.
Push button legs set the seat so the client’s feet land flat and they can push up through the arms. Drainage holes stop water pooling on the seat, and the chair arrives fully assembled, so a support worker can set it up the day it lands.
The seat suits a small to average build. It is for a client who can step over the hob and walk into the shower, and who sits within the chair’s weight rating.
