This is the everyday full body sling in the Handi-Move range, cut from mesh. It gives complete support through the trunk and legs and handles the usual run of transfers: bed to chair, chair to toilet, chair to shower.
Mesh is the choice when the sling is going to get wet or needs to dry fast between uses, which makes it the practical option for a client who showers while slung. It breathes, so it is more comfortable if the client stays in it for a while. The seat is open from the coccyx down, so clothing can be managed for toileting without taking the sling off and starting again.
Leg sections are reinforced and padded to spread pressure, and handles at the back give the carer something to hold while they position the client. It fits every Handi-Move lifting system and spreader bar.
