Bathing and showering are hard on slings. This one is made from PVC anti slip fabric that wipes down and dries quickly, so it can go back into use the same day and does not sit damp in a small bathroom.
A large opening leaves the seat and lower back free, so washing, clothing and continence care are all possible while the client stays supported in the hoist. An abdominal belt with a hook and loop fastening adds security for a client who lists to one side. The fabric is smooth against skin, which suits clients who are sensitive to texture when wet.
