The L version of the 2800 adds a lateral motor, so travel along the rail is powered as well as the lift. The carer drives both from the hand control and never has to push the client along the track, which helps on long runs, in tight bathrooms, and where the carer is small or managing their own back and shoulder problems.
Traversing speed is adjustable, so movement can be set to something the client tolerates. Emergency stop and mechanical emergency descent are on the unit and work from floor level, and backup lift and traverse controls sit on the motor.
It carries loop slings, spreader bars and the Handi-Move body support, covering bed, bathroom, toilet and pool transfers.
