The Handi-Move 2800 is a ceiling hoist motor for carer assisted transfers on a fixed rail. The carer lifts and lowers with an electric hand control and moves the client along the rail by hand, with very little effort needed to get the motor travelling.
Safety functions sit on the unit and are reachable from the floor: an emergency stop, and a mechanical emergency descent that works without power. Backup lift controls are on the motor itself if the hand control is out of reach.
It takes loop slings, spreader bars and the Handi-Move body support, so the one motor covers bed, bathroom, toilet and pool transfers. The grey finish keeps it discreet in a home.
