This thin soft seat sits on top of the standard Etac Clean seat and keeps the toileting opening clear. It gives a warmer, kinder surface under the thighs and buttocks for clients who feel the hard plastic, without lifting the client’s sitting height by much.
The material reflects body heat and the surface is non slip, so a client holds position on the seat and is less likely to slide forward during a shower or a transfer. For a carer that means fewer corrections and a steadier client to work around.
It is a sensible first thing to try when a client tolerates their chair but complains about comfort, or when sitting time on the chair has crept up because of slower showering or longer toileting. Cleaning is part of the normal chair routine.
