About this product

A client who sits on a shower commode for any length of time feels the hard backrest and the bare armrests, particularly if they are thin, cold or have little natural padding. The Comfort Cover is a soft backrest cover with armrest pads built into the one piece, so the whole contact area is softened in a single fitting.

The surface is water repellent and heat reflective, which helps a client stay warm through a shower and keeps the cover from holding water afterwards. Because the armrest pads are integrated, there are no separate parts for a carer to lose or refit between uses, and the cover can be taken off and washed or wiped down as part of the normal cleaning routine.

It is worth considering for clients who shower slowly, who report being cold, or who need longer toileting time.
