This is the Vicair Adjuster O2 in its wider and deeper sizes, supplied with the reversible cover. It suits clients with a larger seated width who still need pressure care shaped to their own posture.
The cushion is built from compartments of air-filled SmartCells. Adding or removing cells from a compartment changes the support under that part of the pelvis, so a dropped hip, an obliquity or an amputation can be accommodated without a custom build. Once set, the cells keep moving with the person and keep pressure spread across the seat.
The pre-ischial section at the front reduces forward sliding and the shear that goes with it, which helps both posture and the skin over the sacrum. It is rated for a high user weight and is used in treatment as well as prevention.
