This is the SeizureAlert monitor supplied with a pager, so the alert follows the carer around the house.

The under mattress sensor detects the movement and sound of a seizure and the monitor sends a wireless signal to the pager the carer keeps with them. A parent can be in the kitchen or the laundry and still know within seconds. Nothing is worn by the person being monitored, and there are no consumables, which keeps the ongoing cost at nothing beyond batteries.

Sensitivity is set by the user, so a light sleeper who moves a lot at night can be accommodated without a run of false alerts. The pager runs on standard batteries and the monitor holds a battery backup so a blackout does not leave the household unmonitored.
