This is a general purpose clip sling for everyday transfers with a passive client: bed to chair, chair to bed, and repositioning in between. The leg sections carry extra padding, which takes the binding out of the body section and makes the sling more comfortable for a client who spends time suspended while a carer manoeuvres.
Who it suits
It is intended for a client who needs full support and cannot assist with the transfer. Head support comes from adjustable clips with no stiffeners in the fabric, so you can set the amount of head and neck support your client needs without changing sling. Used on a lifter with a dynamic positioning spreader bar, the carer can move the client between upright and reclined while they are in the air, which helps with clients who are anxious or who need a reclined position to sit back properly in the chair.
It attaches by clips and is used with Arjo passive lifters only. Sizes run small through to extra large, and the sling launders at hospital temperatures for shared use.
