The CG Air cushion suits a client at high risk of pressure injury who also needs help staying square in the seat. Air moves through channels under the user in a smooth, controlled flow, and the cushion works an ischial well as it settles, which steadies the pelvis and discourages the rotation that pulls a client off centre over the course of a day.
The high profile single valve build gives deep immersion in one compartment, so setting it up is quick: inflate with the hand pump supplied and adjust to the client. Cells are welded with no adhesives, which is what lets the cushion be machine washed or autoclaved without losing air or holding odour. The medical grade PVC is flame retardant, non allergenic and anti fungal.
This version comes with the 3D mesh cover, an open double layer knit that keeps air moving at the seat surface for a client who runs hot or sits for long stretches.
