This is the Bingo chassis fitted with Spex seating, for a child whose pelvis and trunk need to be actively corrected or accommodated, not simply supported. The Spex pelvic section adjusts to the child’s own shape, and the back uses a cell system that can be contoured asymmetrically for scoliosis, kyphosis or lordosis.
Who it suits
Children with complex and changing postural needs, including those with fixed deformity where a flat back surface causes pain or pressure. Positioning pads can be added or taken out as the shape changes, so the seat can be retuned at review, not replaced.
The package is supplied ready for community use, with the tray for table top activities and feeding, the sun canopy and rain cover for getting to school in any weather, and tie-downs so the chair can be secured for vehicle transport. The dull matt black finish keeps it looking like a stroller, not a piece of clinical equipment.
