A double lower limb amputation changes how a sling behaves in the lift: without legs to anchor the lower edge, a standard cut can ride forward. This sling is shaped for that, with shortened leg sections that wrap the residual limbs and hold the client balanced and back in the sling.
It is made in polyester for everyday dry transfers between bed, chair and commode, and it launders well for shared use across a care team. The soft back supports the trunk while keeping the sling clear of the shoulders when the client is seated.
Fit matters more than usual on amputee slings, so we recommend measuring the client before ordering.
