About this product

Some clients need power positioning every day, not as an occasional extra. The Glide Centro 2.0 is built around that need: tilt for pressure management, optional recline for tone or fatigue, and an optional vertical seat lift so your client can reach a bench, a shelf or a person standing in front of them. It is made by Glide in Western Australia, so parts and support stay local.

The mid-wheel drive layout turns on the spot, which is what makes the difference in a hallway, a small bathroom or a workplace with tight corners. Outside, the patented Active Pozi-Track six-wheel suspension keeps the chair steady over kerbs and the uneven footpaths clients meet around Tasmanian towns. Anterior tilt, a shear reduction backrest, power elevating leg rests and LinX or R-Net electronics can all be specified, along with electronic brakes, tie-down points and a wide choice of colours.

Who it suits

A client with a long-term, complex mobility need whose seating has to be built around them rather than chosen off a shelf. Custom seating is built through Glide’s assistive technology service. For a client who mainly drives longer distances outdoors and wants rear-wheel tracking, consider a rear-wheel or hybrid drive base instead.
