Standing matters to a lot of clients, and the way they get there matters just as much. The F5 Corpus VS is a power standing wheelchair with programmable standing sequences, so the movement can be built as supine, semi-reclined or straight sit-to-stand depending on what the person tolerates and what the therapist is working towards.
The standing position itself is adjustable rather than fixed. Chest support can be set to suit, there are several knee support options, and the power articulating footplate keeps the feet properly loaded through the movement. That level of adjustment is what lets a standing programme be introduced gradually instead of all at once.
For the clinician, QuickConfig is the practical win. Programming is wireless, with in-app visuals for standing sequences, memory positions and drive performance, so changes can be made in the room with the client rather than booked in as a return visit. The chair is connected from the factory through Power Platform and +Connect for remote insight and proactive servicing, and MyPermobil gives the client live battery range, distance and seating information.
Standing chairs are assessed with the prescribing therapist.
