Built for clients who want to go where power chairs usually stop. The XT4 runs four wheel drive through four gear in line motors, with front and rear wheels mounted on independently pivoting arms so all four stay planted as the ground moves under them. Mud, sand, snow, gravel and rough tracks are all in scope.
Servo powered steering uses differential wheel speed to keep the chair predictable on slippery and low traction surfaces, which is the point at which a lot of outdoor driving becomes unsafe. Low pressure knobby off road tyres and generous ground clearance handle obstacles and kerbs.
The adjustable seat pan takes MPS, Rehab or aftermarket seating, with power lift, tilt and recline and a choice of legrest configurations available so the chair can be scripted properly rather than sold as a fixed package. It is made in Australia.
