Who it suits
This SmartDrive package suits a manual wheelchair user with good propulsion technique who is starting to pay for it: sore shoulders at the end of the day, hills avoided, outings shortened. The drive mounts to the back of the chair and pushes, so your client keeps their own wheelchair, their own seating and their own way of getting around.
This version comes with the SpeedControl Dial. The dial mounts on the frame within reach, and the client turns it forward to bring the motor in and presses to stop. For a client who wants a direct, obvious control they can see and feel, that is easier to learn and easier to trust than a gesture based system.
The unit lifts off for a car boot and the Australian charger is included.
