Some children in the small Activity Chair need more than a flat surface behind the head. If your client’s head drifts to one side when they tire, or they need a little containment to hold midline while they work at a table, the adjustable winged headrest gives them something to rest into.
The wings adjust in and out, so you can set the amount of lateral contact the child actually needs and open it up again as head control improves. The whole headrest moves up and down on the backrest post and angles to follow the child’s resting head position, which matters once the chair is tilted back for a rest or a feed.
It is padded and wipeable, and it comes off without tools when the chair is being moved between home and school.
