This boom assembly positions a joystick or a touch stick where a client can reach it, and holds that position once it is set. Drive control position is usually the difference between a client driving accurately and driving tired, so the mounting is worth getting right at the fitting.
The boom is marine grade aluminium in a black finish, built for a part that gets knocked during transfers and loaded every time a client uses it. A bracket is included to interface with the P and G hole pattern, so it lands on a common control mounting point without a custom plate being made up.
Mounting hardware to fix the assembly to the chair is not included, so that side needs specifying with it.
