The cushion pairs air-filled SmartCells with an integrated foam base, and a semi-circle cut out under the sitting bones takes load off the bony points that give trouble first.
It is ready to use out of the box. Two valves adjust the air automatically as the person settles, so there is no set up routine to teach and nothing to check daily. The foam base gives the pelvis something solid to sit on, which helps with stability during reaching and transfers.
This version comes with the Air Exchange cover, a 3D mesh top that lets air move through the seating surface for a client who runs warm or sits for long stretches.
