Chair based falls are easy to miss. A client dozes in a recliner after lunch, wakes disoriented and stands without their frame. A seat sensor gives staff warning at the moment they start to rise.
This Universal chair pad is placed on the seat of a lounge chair or wheelchair, under a cover, and signals the monitor when pressure is released. It suits clients recovering from a hip or knee, people with fluctuating cognition, and anyone whose standing balance is worse than they believe it is.
It can run corded to a falls monitor or go cordless with a Cura1 transmitter, so it slots into whatever a facility already has. The soft PVC surface is non-allergenic and wipes down as part of a normal chair clean, which keeps infection control comfortable with it moving between clients.
