About this product

The pull string is the part of a Cura1 2617 monitor that does the work and the part that wears out. It gets clipped and unclipped several times a day, washed by accident, and eventually frays.

This is the manufacturer’s replacement. It carries the same break cord safety feature as the original, so the cord parts cleanly under load without tugging on the client or dragging the monitor off the bed frame.

Keeping a spare on the shelf means a worn cord never becomes a reason to leave a falls alert switched off for a week. For a facility running several pull string monitors, it is worth holding a couple.
