The Klick Electric Mini Carbon is a front wheel power add on for a manual wheelchair. It docks to a linking bracket fitted to the chair, lifting the castors clear so the user steers and drives from a handlebar, and it comes off again when the chair needs to go back to being a manual chair.
For a client who can manage their own transfers and wants distance without a second chair, an add on like this covers school runs, work commutes and rough footpaths that would otherwise be a push too far. It also takes strain off shoulders that are doing a lot of work already.
The Mini Carbon build keeps the unit compact, which matters when it has to live in a car boot or a small flat.
