The Power hub is the everyday unit in the Klaxon Klick range. It links to a bracket on the manual wheelchair with a single click, raises the castors and turns the chair into a steered, powered set up for getting around town, then releases when the user is ready to push again.
Controls are meant to be lived with. A high visibility colour display shows battery state, distance and trip information, and driving parameters can be adjusted from the keypad without a technician. Motion Direct Control, the electronic brake system and intelligent speed control are all standard, with hill holder control available as an option.
Braking is backed by a mechanical disc, and the unit breaks down into three parts for a car boot. Linking hardware can be supplied in a tetra form for clients with limited hand function.
