The pommel mounts in front of the Wombat Living seat and keeps the thighs separated so the pelvis stays square and back in the seat. It is a standard part of most Wombat Living setups for children with increased adductor tone.
Depth adjusts using a finger screw under the seat, so it can be set without tools by anyone who has been shown once. That is useful when the chair is used across home and school and the position needs checking as the child grows.
Four sizes are available to match the chair size and the child’s thigh length, and the pommel can be removed entirely for transfers or for periods when the child does not need it.
