About this product

An anti tip device is worth fitting to any Wombat Living that spends time in tilt, or that is used by a child who pushes strongly into extension. It limits how far the chair can rock backwards, so a sudden movement does not become a fall.

It fits to the rear of the base and sits out of the way in normal use. Carers do not need to do anything with it day to day, which matters when a chair is shared across a classroom or a respite house and the staff using it change week to week.

Clinically it is most often specified for children with strong extensor patterns, involuntary movement, or where the chair is regularly reclined to feed or rest.
