About this product

A size 3 Wombat Living built with the long back, a central brake and a powered actuator for height adjustment. Size 3 is the largest in the range, so this is the configuration for older children, teenagers and young adults.

Who it suits

It suits a user who needs a supportive seating base for the day and who is too big or too involved for a carer to keep lifting between floor level and table level. The powered actuator does that work on a handset, and some users can operate it themselves, which turns a passive adjustment into something they control.

The long back gives extra support through the upper trunk and a base for a head support, which matters for a taller user who fatigues. The seat tilts in space for rest periods, and the backrest angle and seat depth adjust as the user grows.

The central brake locks the chair firmly, so hoist transfers and school routines are safer for the carer.
