Fixed side supports hold a child’s trunk in midline in a Wombat Living. They suit a client with a consistent lateral lean or an early scoliosis where the aim is to correct and maintain position through the whole day.
They stay exactly where the therapist set them, which makes the correction repeatable and stops a carer putting them back slightly differently each morning. Transfers are done from the front or with the child lifted clear.
The set comes with covers, so the surface against the ribs is padded and washable from the start and the covers can be replaced on their own as they wear.
