Getting in and out of bed, and rolling over once there, is where a lot of clients lose confidence and where a lot of falls start. The Patient Assist Rail gives them a fixed handhold at the side of the bed to pull against, push up from and steady themselves on while they turn.
The base slides under the mattress and the client’s own weight holds it in place, so there is no drilling, no clamping to the bed frame and no need for a tradesperson. The base is also shaped to work with slatted bases, which is what most domestic beds have, and the rail fits beds of any size. The loop design has no open end for a limb or a bedsheet to catch in.
The steel frame is powdercoated, so it wipes clean and stands up to daily use in a home setting.
