The low profile base slides underneath, including under ultra low homecare beds, and the pole stands beside or at the end of the bed wherever the client can use it best.
The hand grip hangs on an anti-slip strap cradle that adjusts up and down, so you can set the grip where a client lying flat can actually reach it. From there they can pull up to sitting, roll, shuffle back up the bed or steady themselves before a transfer. For carers, that is a lot of repositioning effort taken out of the day.
It suits clients with reasonable arm strength who are in a standard domestic bed or a homecare bed without a pole point. Heavy duty steel with bracing brackets keeps it stable in use, and it comes apart again if the client moves house or rooms.
