Clients at real risk of falling from bed, in acute wards, subacute units and high care settings. The platform drops close to the floor, so a client who rolls out lands a short distance rather than falling, and the need for constant one to one watching usually drops with it.
The same bed rises to a proper working height, so staff are not bent over during cares, transfers and dressing changes. Positioning is comprehensive: backrest, knee break, auto contour, Trendelenburg and reverse Trendelenburg, cardiac chair and an electronic CPR release for emergencies.
The control box runs on an open bus, which means accessories and upgrades can be added later without replacing the bed. Side rails, a self help pole, a care assist rail, IV pole, oxygen holder and an extension kit for taller clients are all available, so one frame can be reconfigured as a ward’s caseload changes.
