This five function bed is for higher needs patients and longer term care, where the bed has to do the work of positioning someone who cannot reposition themselves. Backrest, height and knee break run off the handset, with auto contour moving backrest and knee break together, and the frame tilts head down and head up for clinical positioning.

For nursing staff, the detail is where the time is saved. There is a nurse control panel as well as a patient handset with function lockout, manual CPR release on both sides of the backrest, removable head and foot boards for access at either end, four ABS side rails, drainage bag holders on both sides and a heavy duty IV pole. Battery backup keeps it working through a power outage.

The central locking castors let one person move the bed and lock it off in a single action, and a foam mattress is supplied with it.
