Front wheels with directional stabilisers change how a Wombat Living tracks. The stabilisers let the front castors be locked to run straight ahead, so the chair holds a line when a carer pushes it down a corridor or across a carpet, with less correction needed at the handles.
That helps most where the chair is regularly moved any distance, or where the carer is pushing one handed while carrying something else. Released, the castors swivel normally for tight turns around a kitchen or a classroom.
This set covers the Wombat Living and the high-low frame, and is supplied as a pair. It is a retrofit, so it can be added to a chair already in use.
