The Quattro Plus deflates one cell in four, so three out of four carry the client at any moment. The bed feels stable while each point still gets its turn of relief through the cycle, which suits an anxious or a frail client who finds a lot of movement underneath them unsettling.
It replaces the standard mattress rather than sitting on top of it, so it goes straight onto the bed base. The pump is included and hangs on the bed end with the supplied brackets, and the multi-stretch cover is waterproof, vapour permeable and welded at the seams for infection control. A CPR release dumps the air fast in an emergency.
Use it for bed bound or largely immobile clients with existing pressure injuries or a high risk of developing them, at home, in aged care or in hospital, and in particular where a one in two system has already been tried and rejected.
