The Promatt Plus is a pressure care mattress system for a client at risk of pressure injury, or being treated for one, who is spending long periods in bed. It is a full mattress replacement system for the bed, supplied here with the pump.
The surface is zoned: firm foam under the head, then air and foam cells through the shoulders, torso and feet that redistribute load as the client moves or is repositioned. A viscoelastic topper softens the contact surface. With the pump connected, the system can run immersion or alternating therapy, so the same mattress covers a change in the client’s needs without a new request for equipment.
Firm perimeter foam keeps the edges stable for sitting and transfers, and the cover is fluid resistant, stain resistant and treated to reduce infection risk, which makes it practical for home care as well as facilities. Two widths are available to suit the bed.
