Knowing that something has alarmed is not much help if you are covering six rooms. The Cura1 3501 ActiveCare Pager is pocket sized, vibrates or sounds when a paired sensor triggers, and shows on its screen which device and which ID raised the call, so staff walk to the right room the first time.
It monitors a small set of wireless devices on its own and a much larger set through the 3500 ActiveCare Console, which is what makes it scale from a group home to a facility. Alerts can be vibration only for night shift, or vibration and tone with a high or low tone chosen to cut through background noise, and the alert repeats while the alarm is still active rather than sounding once and leaving it to chance. It runs on AA batteries, so there is no wiring, no mains and no docking station.
It is for carers and staff who move around a home or facility and look after more than one client on sensor pads, pendants or door monitors. Where a single client has one or two devices and there is no risk of confusion, the simpler 3508 LED Pager does the job for less.
