This unit lets a nurse call point pick up alarms from sensors that have no cable running back to it. One wired device plugs in directly and up to five cordless devices pair to it, so a bed sensor pad, a floor mat and a pendant can all raise an alarm at the same call point.
Setting it up does not involve new cabling or programming, which makes it workable in a home or in a facility where running cable is not an option. Alarms are silent at the unit itself and are cancelled from the existing nurse call button, so nothing extra has to be learned by staff.
It runs on batteries, on a plug pack, or on both together so it keeps working through a power interruption, and the LED indicators stay lit after a cancel until the underlying issue has been dealt with.
