A full mattress replacement for clients at high risk of pressure injury who also need the option of a quieter, more stable surface. The Prime runs a two cell alternating cycle, and the built in foam layer can be repositioned so the mattress works either as a fully dynamic alternating surface or as a hybrid foam surface.
That second setting is useful for a client who finds cell movement distressing, who has poor sitting balance in bed, or who is transferring in and out independently and needs a firmer edge to push from. Weight sensing is automatic and built into the cycle time, and a manual Fowler boost raises sacral support when the backrest is up.
The pump is integrated into the mattress, so there is nothing to hang off the bed end and no separate box to find space for, which helps in a home bedroom. The cover is latex free, and a quick twist CPR valve deflates the mattress fast. A carry bag is included for moving it between placements.
