When a client is falling out of bed at night and rails are not the answer, the Accora Empresa gives you another option. The platform drops close to the floor, so a roll or a climb out becomes a short slide rather than a fall, and it rises again to a proper working height so carers are not bent double over the bed.
The same frame extends in both length and width, which means one bed covers single, king single, long single and long king single sleep surfaces. That matters on a funded package: you are not re-ordering a frame because the client is taller or broader than the first assessment allowed for. The higher weight rating and the width extension also cover many clients who would otherwise be pushed towards a bariatric bed.
Who it suits
Clients at high falls risk in bed, including people with dementia or impaired safety awareness where bed rails are not appropriate, and anyone whose care needs hoisting or repositioning at working height. Backrest and legrest profiling are electric, and the sealed construction stands up to the cleaning regimes residential care runs.
