This Malte posterior walker is supplied with the roll back stop fitted, which stops the frame rolling away behind the child. For a child who pushes back through the frame as they step, or who pauses mid walk and loses the frame behind them, that one feature can be the difference between walking independently and needing a hand on the walker at all times.
The rest of the frame does the usual postural work: pelvic pads to hold the hips, an abducted shape so the legs do not swing out, and forearm supports and handles that adjust three dimensionally to set a position the child can hold. The posterior pad turns into a backrest for a rest stop.
The aluminium frame folds for transport, which keeps it practical for families moving between home, school and appointments. It is offered in a range of colours if the child has an opinion about that, and most do.
