If a client needs one sling that covers most of what a day throws at them, the Invacare Universal sling is the workhorse. It supports the whole body including the head, and it handles transfers from lying, lifts from the floor after a fall, and seated to seated moves.
The high back gives head and neck support throughout, so it is safe for a client with poor head control and for the disorienting lift up off the floor. Colour coded loops let the carer set a more reclined or more upright position depending on what the transfer needs, and let the next shift repeat it.
