When a client on an Armadillo back needs more help staying upright, these laterals add the trunk or pelvic contact the shell alone does not give. They mount to the Armadillo modular sections and are sold individually, so you can order a pair or a single side for an asymmetric posture.
Pads adjust in angle, length and position, which lets the fitter place contact exactly where the trunk needs it. Hardware comes fixed for a client who needs permanent support, swing away where transfers are the priority, or swing away and extendable where both width and access matter.
Pad shapes run from small and large flat pads through to a contoured pad for a curved back and an extra large pad for maximum coverage. Neoprene covers are available where skin comfort or grip is a concern.
