The ProSling General Purpose is the sling for a client who has basic upper body control and does not need their head held. It covers the ordinary run of transfers, bed to chair, chair to chair and a lift from the floor, and it opens at the base so toileting and hygiene care can be done without taking the client out of it.
It is cut in mesh, which drains and dries quickly. That makes it practical for bathing and for any client whose sling comes off for laundering often. It takes a hot wash, so it holds up in shared or facility settings where infection control sets the wash temperature rather than the fabric.
Three loop support straps at each attachment point let the carer set hip and shoulder angle and then repeat that position every time, which is what keeps a client comfortable across different staff. Handles and adjusters are brightly coloured so the correct loop is obvious on a busy morning, and the leg sections are heavy duty with quilted foam to spread load under the thighs.
It is designed for yoke frame lifters and works with most hoists on the market. Where head and trunk control is limited, there is a head support version of the same sling.
