Fabric side rails for the Accora Empresa, supplied as a pair. Each rail is a full-length steel frame with integrated PU-covered padding, so it does the job of a side rail and a bumper in one part. That removes the need to fit separate bumpers, and with them go the gaps, the slipping covers and the laundry.
They are worth specifying for clients who move about a lot in bed, clients with involuntary movement, and anyone at risk of impact injury against an uncovered rail. The padded face also softens the look of the bed, which counts for something in a home bedroom or a residential room where family visit.
In use they lock in the raised position and drop below the height of the mattress, so they are not sitting in the way of a lateral transfer or a hoist sling.
